These adjustments, performed with the chiropractor’s hands help to restore motion to the joints.

 

These also include management of injuries and condition of the extremeties, such as:

the joints in the back (lower and upper);

neck, including shoulders;

as well as other joints in the arms, legs, knees and hips.

 

In answer to your question: No, they don't hurt!

 

Most patients experience relief of aches and pains and improvements in movement with adjustments.

 

Yet, sometimes a patient can experience discomfort.

 

If you do, it is important to discuss this with your chiropractor.

 

There are alternative treatments or even different ways to adjust a joint, which you may find more comfortable.
